MEET PERSONAL TRAINER JESSE JEFFERS
Before we introduce you to Jesse Jeffers, one of Morristown’s top certified fitness professionals, we’dlike to congratulate him and his wife Kelly on the recent birth of their daughter, Harper Elizabeth Jeffers.
Like his daughter, Jesse Jeffers was born in Morristown, NJ. While attending Morristown Beard High School, Jeffers excelled in sports. In fact, he competed in five sports – football, basketball, baseball, track, and lacrosse – which instilled in him a love of athletics and physical fitness.
He left Morristown only long enough to earn a degree in Psychology and History at Gettysburg College, where he also played collegiate football. After college, Jeffers moved back to his hometown, where he continues to be an active member of the Morristown community.
Today, he is the owner and CEO of Top Priority Fitness LLC, located at Boomerang Fitness in Morristown, NJ, where he shares his love and knowledge of physical fitness with others.
Before starting his own company, Jeffers worked for seven years as a personal trainer at The Club at Headquarters Plaza.
Top Priority Fitness has now been helping people in Morristown stay fit for more than four years.
Over the years, Jesse has honed his skills as a fitness professional and developed an insightful philosophy about health and wellness. Jeffers has also earned a special place in the world of fitness.
This athlete has set USAPL Powerlifting World Records in lifting, for example, and has set numerous RPS World Records.
Driven by his desire to share knowledge about fitness, Jesse earned NASM and ASMPT certification in training, and is Silver & Fit certified and NASM nutrition certified.
His specialties are strength training, functional training, stress management, and nutrition. Jeffers also specializes in stress management workouts.
He understands that eating and working out within an environment are the two fundamental challenges to bringing about healthy body changes, so he shares valuable information about
nutrition and feeling comfortable in the workout environment.
Jeffers also works hard to dispel myths about fitness. One of the most common misconceptions is that meaningful change will happen within a week; another myth is that nutrition is complicated.
